In Bangladesh, the iron re-rolling industries have grown significantly over the years because of cheap labor and little over site of the working conditions. The process melts iron so that it can be formed into the desired shape and strengthened.

Approximately 150 people work at this plant. There are 115 men and rest are woman. The workers labor under extremely high temperatures, surrounded by smoke and fire. The physical environment is dangerous and risky and the air filled with toxic fumes. There are very few safety measures in place. The workers must to bear his/her own medical costs for any accident in the factory. On an average, the workers are paid around twenty-five dollars per week.
